          Senator Kemp Hannon

          Chairman NYS Senate Standing Committee on Health

          Kemp Hannon, first elected to the New York State Senate in 1989, is a graduate of Boston College, Fordham Law School and Chaminade High School.

          He is the Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Health, is the Assistant Majority Whip in the Senate Conference and is also the chair of the Health Budget Subcommittee. Regarded widely as an expert in health care public policy and often recognized for his progressive work, Senator Hannon has improved the quality of health care for all New Yorkers.
